I'd like to see the people saying it's an execution be in the position of the police, with a nutter with a blade right in front of you, then come back and say it again.

At the end of the day the police are humans, with families, who would like to go home at the end of the day, same as everyone else. I bet the people moaning would also like those police to put themselves at risk again, protecting them, if a nutter was threatening them. Maybe he was spooked by the taser, but I don't fault him for that, he was in a stressful position because some dick wouldn't put a blade down and was out to be as much of a prick as possible. You don't take a blade out in public like that for nothing, you take it to cause harm. He had guns pointing at him and was still advancing. No matter how slowly, he was still going towards them, unrelenting.

The cops had the right idea before Officer "Itchy Finger" starting shooting. What they wanted to do was surround the suspect with their guns drawn and wait for the officer with the taser to disarm him.

Taser fired ---> Man is incapacitated ---> Shoot him

There's a logic flaw there. This isn't Mortal Kombat, you can't just finish someone off by shooting them after they've been disarmed and rendered a piss puddle.
