Pretty sure after enough killing of fully aware kids it wears down on the mentality, even for these executioners. It wore down many of the Germans in Poland/USSR into madness and they executed with bullets. Can’t imagine the mentality of these guys doing the cutting. Probably even dream about it. I imagine them being drugged up makes it feel less human. No screams, crying, wiggling around. I mean fuck these are kids sometimes.
