Mexican police are corrupt idiots. However, you might want to get out a bit and see the world. The DR and Colombia are the worst I have seen. Then Cubans and other Central American countries. Vietnam and Thailand are just as bad. |

Don't be so quick to judge, they had installed the checkpoint to check public transport for robbers. There are members of criminal gangs in Mexico city who board public transport at the initial bus stop and a few blocks later pull guns out to steal cell phones and money from the passengers. Mexican public transport has been targeted by these criminals for a few years now, it has become so bad that these check points are now a very common in that city. There's a plethora of these videos on YT right now. |
