I'd say Doc that this dude was trying to get across the border - and 'natural selection' tapped him on the shoulder and said "you have neither the water supplies nor cajones to cross this desert and live like an illegal king in Trump Land". The desert will eventually turn him to dust and he'll blow away like the statistic he was born to be .........  |

Nope, I don't buy into the illegal crossing the desert/border, death by dehydration BS. That is clearly a tire in the gulch, so there certainly is civilization located nearby.
