Yiu dont have the option of whether you pass out or not. Your brain needs a constant supply of oxygenated blood. Without it, you lose consciousness very quickly, about 5 seconds. The brain remains active for a bit longer while unconscious, but for how long depends on factors such as blood pressure and remaining oxygen. Decapitation would cause a sudden loss of both, and therefore unconsciousness only lasts another few seconds before the brain dies.

they definitely put out the videos in volume, however, production quality from ISIS is top notch. these cartels generally look like they are filming on a potato while ISIS has HD, slow-mo, close up clips where you can see the arteries spurting blood in clear detail.
