The ETA separatist group from the Basque country inside Spain carried out terrorist attacks from the early 1970s to the late 1980s, thousands of people from the population at large died as a result of explosive devices goig off in crowded places. The US never labeled them as terrorists, maybe because there is no oil in Spain. |
