Well, in all fairness, these guys aren't saying "Hail Mary full of grace" as they torture and dismember the guy... also just because these guys are Mexican or South American doesn't mean they are Catholic. They might actually be into some kind of santeria or devil worship or dia de los muertos thing or something--I don't know.

But the Islamic killings definitely have a very religious flavor, "Allah akbar" and all the writing on the screen, Islam will conquer the world and all that. I think that's what gives people the creeps a lot of times. For instance, some of the Russian murders on video are very awful, but if they were doing it and calmly praising Alla as they did so, it would just be that much more revolting--in part because they think mentioning allah makes it all good or something.

Anyways, why is this video so well done? Notice the overlay with the head at the end? And the lighting is perfect so you don't see the killer's faces, even when they're in frame.

Artistically... meh. The music makes it seem like they are beating a pinata, so if they were going for some kind of cynical, circus of the absurd, insane clown posse type of thing, mission accomplished. Also it is quite grim the way they are busting him up... I'm wondering if those guys really truly hated that man, or if they are just soulless robots following orders so they don't get the same treatment.
