You'll never outrun bullets in a narrow space or alley, and after surviving two previous attacks it was stupid to do anything out in the open that would keep his atention away from his surroundings and unarmed on top of that!  If neighbors described him as sullen and aggressive it is likely he had pissed more than one dude in his neighborhood. |
