Actually, yes. As a matter of fact they are-in America anyway. Studies indicate that people considered in the top 1/7th in attractiveness by their coworkers have been shown to make a full 10% more than those in the middle. People in the bottom 1/7th have been shown to make up to 5% less than the 'average.' So in the strictest sense of lifetime earning potential, beautiful people are indeed worth more than average or ugly ones. |
