Mexican Cartel Throws Dried Corn on Dismembered Remains of Rival
Assassins from the 'Los Chapitos' faction of the Sinaloa Cartel killed and dismembered an enforcer from the 'La Mayiza', or 'Mayito Flaco', faction, before throwing dried corn kernels, or hominy, on his corpse. This is an apparent reference to the popular Mexican soup 'pozole', in which hominy is mixed with pork.
