I used to go scuba diving in San Carlos, Mexico, driving down from Tucson. There is a security stop at a place called "Benjamin Hill" (There is a U.S. astronomical observatory there, so I assume that is where the English name came from). It is run by the Internal Revenue Police of Mexico, and they are like the U.S. IRS. No sense of humor, and pretty scary. The guns are aimed right at YOU, when you stop. It made my hair stand on end. They went through everything in the car, even the laundry (wet towels and wetsuits from diving) I haven't been down there in a few years, and that is one of the reasons. Believe me, your life is not worth two cents outside the U.S. I'd rather dive in the crappy cold waters off of San Diego, and risk the sharks, then keep stopping at Benjamin Hill.

Those motherf**ers are dangerous not only because they're idiots but because they are not well trained in the use of firearms and it shows, I was stopped by Mexican "Marine" dwarfs about 15 years ago during a trip, I'm 6' 8" and I felt like Gulliver at that moment, I really despise those ****, they've never been in combat and have no right to feel like true soldiers, I have no respect for them at all.
