Re: Mental Patient Jason Harrison Shot & Killed by Dallas Police
You miserably FAIL at trying to act funny. Your attempt at it is nauseating and immature.

Re: Mental Patient Jason Harrison Shot & Killed by Dallas Police
When the hell did we start treating lunatics with weapons like they were valuable members of society? I feel like all these media reports of mental cases getting shot are trying to make me feel sympathy for a looney, but I don't If some fucking KNOWN schizo was coming at me with a weapon of any sort, I'd fire on his ass too.

Re: Mental Patient Jason Harrison Shot & Killed by Dallas Police
The cop yelled because he was trying to gain control of the situation. Obviously his mother was concerned if she called the police in to deal with her son. I do to care what she looked like, fact is SHE called the police because her son was menacing her, and was holding a knife when he came outside. |

Re: Mental Patient Jason Harrison Shot & Killed by Dallas Police
Any one who thinks they should have tased him knows nothing about the lethality of a screwdriver and how quickly one can close distance. For all we know he could have been lunging forward so that he could stab his mother. Cops backed themselves into a corner here, with the car right behind them there was absolutely now where to go, except BANG!

Re: Mental Patient Jason Harrison Shot & Killed by Dallas Police
I'm not a fan of the law. I break laws every day. But if there were no cops (who you all seem to hate) who would protect you from the rapists and child molesters and drug dealers in your neighborhoods? Certainly not you peace loving, "every violent act is racism", don't punish your kids when they misbehave and then blame it on video games when they shoot up a school, shit don't stink do-gooders.

Re: Mental Patient Jason Harrison Shot & Killed by Dallas Police
For all of you suggesting he wasn't much of a threat, you should watch a few videos on YouTube of the Tueller Drill. Any law enforcement officer can tell you, it's UNBELIEVABLE how fast a person within 21 feet can get to you. These cops were just a few feet away. Remember, these guys and gals do this for a living. They can't afford to get in a "fair fight" every time they come up against a perp. This is why it's important to follow an officer's instructions. That being said, the person to blame in all this is the one who you can hold least responsible; the mother. This may be the officers' first encounter with this individual, but she'd had to deal with him since they day he was born. What might be alarming for us is just another day at home for her. Too bad the 911 dispatcher didn't think to ask if the son had any mental deficiencies before officers arrived. If someone had asked, I can guarantee you they wouldn't have been standing so close to the door. |
