Medical Doctor Doing Cable Chest Flies at Gym Collapses and Died
India. Dr. S. Rahman, a 47-year-old Associate Professor at the Nagaon Medical College and Hospital, suddenly collapsed and died while exercising at a local gym. The doc, who worked in the community Medicine department, was doing his routine workout around 7:36 PM when he suddenly lost consciousness and fell forward. The tragic incident was caught on the gym's CCTV camera. Bystanders immediately rushed him to Hospital, but he was declared dead upon arrival. Doctors suspect he suffered a sudden cardiac arrest. The local police have started an investigation and are waiting for the final autopsy report to confirm the exact cause of death. The sudden loss of the respected and fitness-conscious medical professional has deeply shocked his colleagues, students and the local community. |

Not a bad way to go...no tragically slow physical or cognitive decline. No forgetting who you are or the names of loved ones. Just sudden death. Sorry so young, though.

I'm still baffled how many times I see people grab someone who just collapsed (or is killed in many other manners) and try to sit them up. You would think that rendering aid by performing CPR would be a priority, globally.
