unless he damaged or pulled the bolt pin connecting the hydraulic to the bed. that ought to slam the bed down faster than you can say ouch.

Yeah, I'm not an auto mechanic by any stretch of the imagination; however, if I was, I wouldn't be standing there while working on that part of the truck.

Lokksmlikemhe disconnected the hydrolic hose.....basic knowledge for a mechanic....undo hose lose pressure and whooommph!
