What happend there, never see a truck body come down at that speed before, even a burst pipe wont cause that to fall at that speed, never see any oil spraying around, maybe the body was being held up by a surport or something and he hit it with a hammer and down it came.
unless he damaged or pulled the bolt pin connecting the hydraulic to the bed. that ought to slam the bed down faster than you can say ouch.

Yeah, I'm not an auto mechanic by any stretch of the imagination; however, if I was, I wouldn't be standing there while working on that part of the truck.
