Re: Mechanic Working on Dumptruck Crushed to Death
Comical, the speeded up technique. Makes them look like ants running to & fro in a time-lapsed little movie on ant farm, and they were probably just about as effectual as ants would be trying to figure out how to raise a dump truck bed from the looks of it.

Re: Mechanic Working on Dumptruck Crushed to Death
What happend there, never see a truck body come down at that speed before, even a burst pipe wont cause that to fall at that speed, never see any oil spraying around, maybe the body was being held up by a surport or something and he hit it with a hammer and down it came.

Looks like he took the anchor pin out of the hydraulic cylinder, or the knuckle broke at the bucket, you can see a small up actuation (probably an assistant at the controls) right before the cyl popped out and killed homie till he died from it. |

Re: Mechanic Working on Dumptruck Crushed to Death
Never work on hydraulics with any kind of trust when it involves thousands of pounds of instant death...UNLESS you have it supported with proper stands or a rated hoist. Even then, you take your life into your own hands working on such equipment... |
