Re: McDonalds Security Guard Murder
Getting into a violent physical altercation with a security guard or police or anyone with a gun - means you are likely going to get shot. low intelligence = death sentence. |

Re: McDonalds Security Guard Murder
Security Guard escalated it from the very beginning when he whipped the baton out. Started a situation he couldn't win and used force he isn't allowed in that instance.

Re: McDonalds Security Guard Murder
He's for sure going to jail for murder of some degree or and nearly as punishing charge. Security Guards are supposed to call the police and the footage clearly shows him escalating to violence. Only in extremely rare instances our security allowed to be armed and even rarer that they can use their weapon. Pretty sure there was a famous YouTube mall call that slowly escalated through out his series from just joke items to detain or kick people out of the mall to using tasers and what not that he bought with his own money. Pretty sure he was based in Atlanta, GA and in really bad neighborhood. If I remember right it ended with him getting in a shootout and either dying or killing someone and being arrested and charged with murder. Would have to dig for that story. I remember it from back in highschool. https://www.reddit.com/r/securityguards/s/Gah7cFC4nk Fairly positive it was this guy. He bodycammed everything. |

Re: McDonalds Security Guard Murder
Darian Long - Atlanta, GA "mall super cop" - was fired and arrested for battery. He use to post all his body cam footage online. Was pretty funny back in the day. Mixed up stories. My bad. Plenty of stories of security guards using deadly force and being arrested and sentenced though. |

Re: McDonalds Security Guard Murder
He was charged with murder. There's a lot more to the story that wasn't caught on video.

Re: McDonalds Security Guard Murder
This is going to be a complicated case. Guard escalated, but there's an argument that once he'd lost his baton and run out of fitness, he panicked and defended himself with the only option left. Murder (of any degree) will be a very difficult charge to stick, because intent to kill is unlikely to be proven for the same reason as above. |
