Thanks, but I'm not that good. I was commenting on what was shown in the shorter video that doesn't contain the seemingly gratuitous backside baton bashing. Like another poster said this might be complex. I wonder if the "customer" threatened the guard's life and/or he was going back to his booth to get a weapon, and the guard was attempting to protect everyone by striking the sasquatch with a stick.

I watched the longer version too. The security guard has his right hand on his gun during the “baton tussle” incident. The guard actually pulls his sidearm, displays said sidearm, re holsters side arm. Now why start beating the shit out of the creep? I don’t think that the security guard can actually claim “feared for his life” in what I observed.

Guard should have called the cops as soon as he got violent. Security guards are not police officers. But he is up to speed now.
