Married Couple Executed on Motorcycle

Brazil, unsurprisingly (thanks to mort99 for catching this one). This guy took his bike to pick his wife up from the bus stop when she got off work. About a block from their home, the bike was assaulted by multiple gunmen. The first shots hit the 23 year old wife (one in the knee and one in the back), knocking her off of the bike with the impact.

Witnesses (there were dozens of bystanders) said that she was not immediately killed by the shots and struggled to her knees, but then fell down again and was dead by the time the paramedics arrives.

The husband took off without her, but only made it a few yards before he was also shot and the bike went down. Witnesses indicated that the gunmen surrounded him and he was shot ten times in the head at close range.

When the police went to the couple's home to secure their children (they had two), they found a 'moderately large' quantity of drugs packaged up for sale. This is currently considered to be a motivation in the execution. They feel that the husband was the actual target and that the wife just picked the wrong day to get a ride home from the bus stop, as she worked a 40+ hour-a-week job and took care of the kids while he did 'business' around the neighborhood and late at night.
