Around 1990, I was working for some Israeli based jews who had some exceptional software and an office in Chicago. Somebody technical needed to fly to Brazil to train a customer on our software. I was 25 years old but was sent because there was a cholera epidemic in that area of Brazil, we had entered a recession and management wanted to kill me off. I had never been south of the USA border, and I arrived in Rio and helped my contact push start his Alcool Chevrolet. It was Sunday late afternoon, he took me to his tiny but beautiful home where his girlfriend and another women were waiting. They had a grill going and were playing "Guinnevere" by Crosby Stills and Nash on their excellent stereo, a heady scene and one of the funnest times I ever had on business travel. My host gave me a drink of the local mezcal, which they called "chinga" or "pinga" or something like that, and had me lie of his hammock strung looking over the mountains. As I lay there, my host said "at work they have a saying, "if you don't like somebody at Luiz's parties, put your clothes on and leave". I realized he had brought the 29 year old Bitbus programmer over on Sunday night to "entertain" his American guest and maybe inspire an orgy... (to be continued)
