It is the typical guy response after getting hurt... "I can walk this off." I'd imagine that is what he is trying to do since you can see him moving his thighs (what is left of them).

What exactly are they supposed to put a tourniquet around?? There's not really any extremities there to even be able to apply a tourniquet. I am an experienced paramedic, and the ONLY thing you can do to control bleeding in that situation is something called quick clot. It's used in combat situations. Obviously picking him up the way they did was just plain stupid. |
