No, his innards didn't come out of his neck. They came out of his chest. His sternum fractured and then someone else ran over him and squished it out bottom to top like a tube of toothpaste. Envision a tube of toothpaste with the cap still on, but has split near the rim that leads up to the cap. |

On another note... Ever notice how hearts appear to just shoot right out of people? This is the 3rd or 4th video where someone got mangled, and their heart is a good couple yards away from them. Gives new meaning to "the heart will go on..." |

I was actually going to post exactly this. I'm curious what the biological reason why this seems to happen a ton relative to other organs. I suppose the heart is attached much less to nearby fascia/tissue etc than most organs.
