I'm guessing the guys heart might have just stopped hence the urgency to try and get him back online. I mean it would make more sense to be giving the man a few lungfuls of oxygen first if he had been found with no vital signs to stop his brain dying. Once that's shut down it's game over, and that's a matter of minutes.
I am guessing he has already been doing artificial respiration before the camera went on him. The guy giving him first aid probably knows he's flogging a dead horse, given the amount of blood pissing out of his brain. So as ridiculous as it appears in the clip I am not going to judge the person helping him. I respect him for trying to save this man's life when the odds are stacked so heavily against him.

He also looks like an EMT...so...pretty sure you're supposed to do everything possible for victims until they can be taken to the hospital...it's their duty.

My leg was going like that involuntarily after my motorbike crash. How are these always so fatal? I T boned a car at 90kph with jeans helmet and gloves. If I had a jacket I would have walked away but the worst I had was a fucked up back and some gravel rash.
