Peru. Unknown individuals entered ceviche restaurant also known as the Uncle Santa's Tavern and repeatedly opened fire on the patrons.

The deceased have been identified as Hermenegildo P.Z. and Débora C.Q.

Meanwhile, the injured, Doris S.M.C. and Héctor J. S.A, were transferred to the hospital.

Officers from the Peruvian National Police (PNP) arrived at the scene, cordoned off the area, and began investigations to clarify what happened and identify those responsible.

According to the PNP, Héctor has a history of complaints against him for the alleged crimes of usurpation and the manufacture, supply or possession of dangerous materials, so the officers do not rule out that the armed attack was a settling of scores but there are also suspicions that the incident is linked to a territorial dispute over pimping.

Was it entirely a matter of lead poisoning or do those responsible include the chef?
