Two motorcyclists lost their lives after 5pm in the afternoon this Sunday in an accident that occurred on the road connecting Bucaramanga to Rionegro, in Colombia.

"It just happened, there are two dead. They were completely wrecked," was the report given by a passing driver.

According to initial reports, the motorcyclists were run over by a tractor-trailer for reasons yet to be clarified.

"That's a blind curve, you have to open up more than necessary when you're on a motorcycle, it's a pretty narrow road to maneuver," stated another driver. Others suggested that perhaps the tractor-trailer driver had tried to avoid a pothole, but in the curve, it collided with the motorcycle, particularly the rear wheels. However, all of this is part of an ongoing investigation.

At the moment, the true causes are unknown, as well as the identities of the victims, a man and a woman.

It's weird how there was so much damage to the people but the bike seemed relatively intact. I'm guessing that they parted ways with it prior to the main impact.
