A man identified as Fabrício P.d.C., 19, died after being chased and shot on Ponte do Pêra. The crime took place on January 23rd, but only now has the video of the crime been made public.

A video circulating on social media shows the moment when criminals on a motorcycle shoot at the victim, who was on the back of another motorcycle alongside his mother. He was hit in the back and neck, and he ultimately died in ICU at a local hospital.

Fabricio lived in the Campo do Oriente neighbourhood. He went to the Pêra neighbourhood to visit his mother, but due to territorial disputes, he was told by criminals to leave. Fabricio was murdered a few minutes later, when he and his mother were leaving the area on a motorcycle taxi.
