Four people have been arrested by Delhi Police for beating a young man to death in the Timarpur's basti area. The deceased, named S, 31, had a scuffle with R.P, A. and M. S. and arrived with a sickle to fight with them but the accused snatched his sickle and thrashed him to death with sticks and kicks.

He died during treatment in the hospital, S. said that he had gone to the spot to take revenge as the same people had beaten up his brother a day before, police said.

The body of the deceased has been kept at the local mortuary.
S. had once been convicted of murder.

All the accused had previous criminal records, including snatching, theft and gambling.

Meanwhile, the police are currently investigating the case and trying to nab other accused involved in the case.
