Re: ~Man Trapped Under Forklift~
do not fear, forklift instructor here! the seatbelt on a forklift isnt designed to stop you from jolting forward when you crash (like a car) its intended to stop you from jumping out of the seat if it tips to the side, the safest place to be when an accident occurs is in the drivers seat. if you jump out whilst a forklift is tipping this is what happens, they call it the mousetrap. a sideways tip or "lateral" tip can occur by: -driving too sharply around a corner -carrying an uneven load -driving along an incline -driving on unsuitable and damaged surfaces -turning with a raised load -working in a shithole country |

Re: ~Man Trapped Under Forklift~
It feels like you stopped mid-lesson, DADDY. I was enjoying the read. Anybody else find it strange how the guy wasn't wearing shoes? Who drives and/or works around forklifts barefooted? |
