Gotta hand it to this dude, he made up his mind prior to starting the livestream, and he clearly knew that everyone trying to contact him were more worried about how they'd feel about themselves if they didn't try than they were ever worried about him. He knew that if he backed off from his decision, it would mean a long stay in a mental hospital, and that everyone who was acting so concerned about him that night would've just gone right back to ignoring him and writing him off as crazy.

So yeah, boss move on his part. All of the apathetic shitbags in his life can still go on pretending for their own sake like they gave a fuck, but at least he doesn't have to look at their stupid fake asses anymore.
