Update: His confession,

And he continued, "Then I started stabbing her in the chest until she died and I sat next to her looking at her and saying to her (I didn't say we go back in these flashy days, you said no), and then I cut the arteries of my right and left hands with the same knife, and I didn't know for myself except while I was in the hospital."

He added: "I have been married to Shadia since 2007, and we had two children. We had marital problems. Two months ago, I left the marital home and traveled to Cairo, leaving my children and my wife because of the fights."

And he continued: “During the two months, I tried to contact her to return home and go back together, but she refused until I learned that she had filed a divorce case.

My thinking led me to buy a knife and put it in my pocket in case she refused, and in fact what I thought I had met, she refused to come home with me and a quarrel broke out between us that ended in killing her.”

Counselor Tariq Jalal, the first attorney general of the Beni Suef Prosecutions, had decided to imprison the accused of killing his wife for 4 days pending investigation.

The Ihnasiya Investigation Department, headed by Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Bahgat, succeeded in presenting a video of the murder that the accused committed against his wife, S M., 35 years old. The video showed that the accused stabbed her 27 times in the neck, chest and abdomen.

The husband had stabbed his wife with a knife and then cut the arteries of his hand and was taken to the hospital to save him, and the security services were able to seize the tool used in the crime, which is a knife, and Major General Mohamed Murad, the security director in Beni Suef, ordered the appointment of tight security on the husband in the hospital until he had surgery .

Major General Mohamed Murad, director of Beni Suef security, had received a notification from Lt. Col. It turned out that there were family disputes between them after they had 3 children, and that the husband had heard that his wife was preparing to file a divorce case against him.

Initial investigations also indicated that the wife was called S. M. is from the city of Ihnasia and her husband is called Mahmoud M.S., and that an ambulance transported the wife to the morgue of Beni Suef Specialized Hospital, and the husband to the same hospital for urgent surgery.

I don't usually care what happens to women who dress like the Grim Reaper, but this video is more ghastly than usual. She did a great job of fighting him off, for a while. I thought she had a death gaze but her face kept changing and when I thought she was gone her mouth would move. It looked like someone approached at the end, this was probably the conversation:

"what are you doing?"
"my bitch said she was divorcing me so I am stabbing her!"
"Oh, praise Allah! Carry on regardless!"

that is the tragic part - no one wins from this situation

he deserves to be strung up by the balls for this, but if only he (and so many other idiots) could take a bit of time to breathe in and think about the gravity of what they are doing, there may not be so much terror, death and destruction in this world

I realize in a shit storm situation like this it's hard to think on your feet, but she had plenty of opportunity in the first 10 seconds or so to kick him right in the nuts.
