A 56 year old man was stabbed to death by his 31 year old friend just before 10pm this Sunday in a dance hall in Brazil after the 31 year old asked a woman to dance with him and received a 'taba' - a refusal. She then went on to dance with the 56 year old straight after. Enraged, the 31 year old left the dance hall and returned armed with a knife, grabbed the victim, and stabbed him twice in the neck. The victim tried to get up, but ended up falling, at which point the aggressor stabbed him again, in the chest, just above the heart.

The murderer tried to flee but was restrained by security guards. When police arrived they found no vital signs on the victim. Paramedics confirmed death when they arrived soon after. The venue had a license to operate until 4 in the morning.
