Re: Man Stabbed to Death in the Middle of the Road
What I don’t understand is how many people are watching this and they don’t dropkick the person with the knife to save the guys life |

Re: Man Stabbed to Death in the Middle of the Road
Yeah I was thinking the same. I think this is a combination of the fight or flight response and the bystander effect. It's just not in our nature to run into obvious danger like that, and the risk/reward pretty much went wayyy down once the dude started getting stabbed in the neck anyway. Interestingly enough, studies on the bystander effect have shown that in some situations, it doesn't take much to get the ball rolling. I think in this case all someone would need to do is find a suitable melee weapon, and recruit a couple people and give them a specific task (like surround the dude and be a distraction or something), and the likelihood of others jumping in would go up because the perceived risk for the individual went down. |

Re: Man Stabbed to Death in the Middle of the Road
Love to know the backstory..Plz tell me this was not just a random case of road rage/mishap/ disagreement between two strangers leading to all of this coz it looks like it to me |
