While commuting by bus to the industrial park where he worked, 37-year-old Mr. N.T.L. played music on his phone at a high volume. A colleague, 40-year-old Trần Hoàng Thông (first pic), argued with N. to turn it down, which led to a heated argument which continued as they disembarked the bus near the company premises.

In a fit of rage, Trần dragged N. from the bus and, along with 26-year-old Phạm Hồng Hải, used a knife to launch a direct assault on N., stabbing and killing him at the scene. Trần and Pham then went to the police to surrender themselves.

The description states that both of them dragged the victim out, but it was only one of them.
