Re: Man Shot Several Times In The Face
yes waste of ammo..more than likely....its full metal jackets (cheap), they go in and scatter around. small entry....massive inside damage. unlike a hollow point or something fancy. also could have been a .22, I have seen ext mags for them. but the gun looks too big in his hand. and at 18 shots...the gun actually looks like an older version Walther PDP...but shit there are probably over 25 manufacturer's making (faking) the same gun. very few makers make 18 round arms...but shit could have been a fun stick not loaded fully....but who knows really..... but ill tell you one thing, these were NOT hollow points, and it was supersonic ammo. |

Re: Man Shot Several Times In The Face
oh oh oh....I showed a friend this....he said (he's a suppressor expert) so he says subsonic unless you mix your own powders and loads.. he compared the two like this.....ill try to say it word for word.. "well....it all depends on all different factors" I said I knoooooowww dude, but just what do you think?..."all I can say is super fmj is like an ice pick to the temple....hollow point (subs) is like a 3 pound sledge hammer TO THE TEMPLE. made sense to me too... anyway Jesus sorry for answering such a stupid question in such stupid depth. |

Re: Man Shot Several Times In The Face
Also not correct. First, hollow point ammo is offered in several grain loads and pressure values for the popular calibers. This gun was no 22 LR judging by the recoil and flash. 9mm or 380 is highly likely and the ONLY subsonic hollow points I've seen in common brands that were actually subsonic (by happenstance, not the offerings specifically loaded and labeled as, "subsonic" 9mm) are 124gr. Or heavier (147 gr.). MOST every load for 45 ACP. However, is subsonic due to chamber pressure safe limitations. That being said, WTF are you talking about subsonic vs supersonic in this context? You are implying you could tell this from the video, which, without a suppressor mounted, is COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE. So you are clearly trying to sound way smarter than you actually are, why? |

Re: Man Shot Several Times In The Face
answering a fucking question....I guess?? ive seen subs wreck shit upon impact ... its very possible the fmjs went right through as well... and like I said...its too big for 22lr.... so unless you KNOW shut your fucking mouth. I was trying to answer a question with the 4 secs that a could see... and yes asshole....there are plenty of loads pressures, powder mixes. subs would have tore the face to pieces, I highly doubt that he paid the premium for 147s when 115s are have the price like I said....def not hollow point ammo... and def super sonic ammo... dont try to sound smart unless you can back up your snot nose comments?? maybe??? |

Re: Man Shot Several Times In The Face
and damnit I knew at least one of you idiots would try to over analyze my post back and forth... so I had a YouTube vid showing exactly what I was trying to say...but I lost it and can't find it now. shows impact wounds with subs vs supers. subs about 1in wounds....supers had about 1/4in wounds, big difference. ive shot (if I had to estimate) over 500,000 rounds of ALL types (def not the Luttrell 1million) but I feel is enough to make a comment... or you can always stop by and we can talk about it |

Re: Man Shot Several Times In The Face
Likely one of three calibers: .22 .32 .380 Im leaning toward .32 due to: size of casings, recoil(kick of gun firing) and the tone&pitch of report(sound of gun firing). |
