From the title of the post, I came here not expecting to see much of any face left. Instead, his face seemed remarkably unscathed. What kind of bullets barely rupture the skin.

Waste of bullets, whatever kind. Dude was already dead before the first shot.
Looked like a 22... maybe LR but could have been mag with the length of the shell casing.
