Peru. Yesterday, 25-year-old Brayan Y.C.O. was executed at the entrance of a car shop by a hitman firing several shots.

Two men arrived on a motorcycle; the shooter, wearing a helmet, stepped off and immediately opened fire on Brayan without saying a word.

Witnesses and investigators reported that approximately 12 shots were fired. The victim was hit multiple times and died instantly at the scene.

After the murder, both hitmen fled on the motorcycle and remain at large.

Local police are treating this as a professional contract killing, likely motivated by a score-settling or revenge. Security cameras captured the entire sequence of the crime.

I missed this the first time through as well, but you can see the shooter raise his arm with the gun just as they're passing those people on the sidewalk in the background.
I believe he was shooting towards witnesses, either those people on the sidewalk, or maybe into another storefront.

but the gunshots sounded just as loud, even though the motorbike was distant.
