A double homicide was recorded on Thursday morning (2) at a gas station in a rural area of Dom Expedito Lopes, Piauí state, Brazil. According to the police, two criminals were chasing a man, who had a criminal history for drug trafficking, from Picos, 27 km from the town. When they arrived at the gas station, they saw a man placing an order at the establishment's convenience store and mistook him for the criminal they wanted to kill. One of the criminals entered the snack bar and shot the man, identified as ambulance driver Fabricio B.A., in the head, killing him instantly. When he came out, he spotted the real target and shot him too, fleeing with his partner soon after.   |
