22-year-old A.K, an employee at the Smile Direct Club, a company that makes clear plastic teeth aligners in Nashville, opened fire at one of its warehouse facilities Tuesday morning, injuring 3 people before Metro Nashville Police Department officers shot and killed him, a police spokesman said.

Police reported investigators were reviewing a witness' claim that the suspect fired at officers first.

Video from another angle shows the suspect, who was standing on Antioch Pike with a pistol in his right hand, raise his arm and fire what appears to be two shots in the direction of Officer Dylan Ramos and Officer Cherell Kinchlowe. The officers, who both fired their weapons at the man, were not injured.

Footage in a portion of the two hour and 24 minute video shows what appears to be two muzzle flashes from the suspect's gun.

Police said A.K, a day-shift employee, walked into the manufacturing facility in Antioch just before 6 a.m. and fired shots inside without wounding anyone.

Police said he then engaged in a shootout with security guards through the doors of the facility, striking a manager and two security guards.

After the shooting, officers found him armed with a .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol at a nearby intersection. The officers asked him to drop the gun, but he pointed it at the officers, who shot and killed him.

Video prior to the police shooting shows the suspect pace around the outside of the warehouse and fire about two dozen shots into the lobby.

The shooting took place during a shift change, police reported, and on-site security personnel "contained" the incident.

The three people injured by gunfire in the warehouse shooting were taken to a hospital.

On Friday, a 46-year-old security guard shot in the chest remained in stable condition at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The man was expected to live.

The other security guard injured, a 66-year-old man, was released from the hospital Wednesday. The third victim was treated and released the day of the shooting.

Police on Friday continued to investigate a motive in the the warehouse shooting.
