Kinda. As usual when it's about race people do a lot of cherry picking statistics.

It's usually white people who are shot and killed by police. But people will say, black people are a smaller percentage of the population and therefore. Even though more white people are shot by police,! some years it's nearly double the amount. Black people are shot at a higher rate per percentage of population.

But the same people who use that argument, don't bring that same logic to really anything else unless it helps their point.

But if you were to do so. It would work the same way. It is usually white people doing work place or mass shootings. But, that's only because white people are the majority. There's 3 times as many white people.

But white people are not responsible for 3 times as many mass shootings or work place shootings. With black people being a smaller population, they are responsible for a higher percentage of these shootings than they should be .

Showing that if black people were the majority, we would have many more of these than we have now.

People also don't know how often this happens when it involves a black person because national news will many times ignore the story.
