Brazil, Ernesto "Tito" Gonzalez (63) was one of the most famous lawyers of Corrientes. He had worked on the most famous cases in the region. Last Wednesday, at 7.15 am, as usual for him, he went to a bar downtown to meet a partner and talk about some cases.

He greeted several acquaintances - as in the place usually colleagues, businessmen and traders getting breakfast there - and as the is about to settle down on a table, another person came in and fired at least 6 shots at him before stepping back, taking off his hat, and shooting himself in the head.

The killer, Walter Martinez, 45 was one of his clients and was angry because the lawyer had failed saving him for prison for a case of sexual abuse. He was accused of the rape of two nieces, now 19 and 21, in 2008 and 2009 when they were 12 and 14. The allegations against him were made in the last days of May.
