Little to no blood from either entrance wound. He was bleeding out, internally, before he even hit the ground.

That little action of pointing the gun at the person who shot him, was only performed by a brain that had a minimal amount of oxygenated blood left in it.

I've always noticed that when it's not like a full-on headshot, there is that few seconds where I guess the adrenaline kicks in and the dead guy retains full body control before the brain (?) realizes "oh fuck I'm dead".
