With a caravan Fire, Civil Defense and National Police, the authorities managed to transfer the 98% of gunpowder that was found in a home to the Alto de la Capilla neighborhood in Rionegro, after a fort explosion shake the place.

It is estimated that on the site there was more than 500 kilos of gunpowder, of which 20% would have exploded, so the tragedy could have been greater. Most of the cargo found was transferred from the house to the Juan del Corral battalion on the La Mosquita sidewalk, where a controlled disintegration will be made, that is, there will be no detonation.

The balance of the tragedy is two dead people: Juan MV, who would be the owner of the powder shop; and Luis FRT, who was passing by to greet friends at a vet next to the scene of the explosion.

About people wounds it was known that eight have already been discharged, while three continue to be attended in medical centers in the municipality.
