we have a place in the philippines where even our worst drivers turns obedient inside that place. It is now called Subic Bay Freeport Zone but it used to be a US Naval Base. Not too many cops visible but the rules of First in First out on intersection is observed. whoever stopped first outside the intersection, gets to cross first while others stopped too. And even with no traffice lights or cops visible you have to make a full stop in a zebra crossing wherever it is or even without pedestian on the roadside.

in a lot of countries the law of zebra crossings is a grey area and so drivers don't know if they need to stop or not...IN south africa you CAN'T walk across a zebra crossing when there is traffic or you will die.... there are a number of factors involved here...the guy was into his music and didn't hear any car approaching and definitely wasn't watching where he should've been... the car seemed to screech to a stop after a long while so i reckon he was speeding and also wasn't paying attention.... also the driver of the filming car had stopped just beyond the crossing which could've distracted the other drivers attention away from where it should've been... pity.... that guy got fucked up!! |
