Re: Man Laying on the Street After Being Shot in the Head
I'm going to step out on a limb here and suggest that the bystanders did what little they could. He's been shot in the head. I'm not trained outside of basic first aid and CPR and in a situation like this, I wouldn't know what the fuck to do, would you? Apply pressure? Not likely, he's been shot in the skull and he's alive, I wouldn't touch the wounded area for fear of fatal consequence. As for the Umbrella, it's a fairly smart and compassionate gesture in my opinion. It's not unlikely to think the temperature was in the mid 30's or even 40's (well over 100). So ...why not provide shade for the poor guy while waiting for help to arrive, help that is trained. Geez, sorry this slightly less developed country has to wait for ambulatory response (Hm, that NEVER happens where you live does it?) For all you who are saying "Why are the bystanders not doing anything" ...Tell me please, what would you have done WA |

Re: Man Laying on the Street After Being Shot in the Head
Totally agree with the comment about the umbrella being a compassionate gesture. I would hope that someone did at least call an ambulance. I wouldn't have thought it would be very wise to move him. We need someone who can translate what the people are yelling. |
