China doesn't teach their citizens to use common sense when crossing. In elementary school we in the U.S. are drilled to look both ways. I drive by profession, School buses, Charter Buses, Uber/Lyft and Semi-Truckers I witness foreigners behaving as if they're in their trash countries, meaning; not looking both ways before crossing and mowing down pedestrians and other drivers...

I remember classes when I was little, about how to cross a street, how to use the walk signal, everyone holding hands as we walked to wherever the teacher was taking us, etc. etc.
