Unfortunately the DA and sheriff did try to have this man prosecuted and brought the case before a grand jury. Thankfully the grand jury refused to proceed.
This was absolutely a man protecting his home and family. But they didn’t like that he shot 3 times and in the back while retreating. It is obvious that the father was shooting through the door and was just eliminating the threat.
I think it’s rather ironic, police are allowed to shoot unarmed individuals 10,15, even cases of 60+ shots fired into a person but that is considered justified. This man had to await the fate of the grand jury.
Now, ALL the headlines of this man are that he was “laughing during police interview” which is false. He was remorseful it was only when him and the investigator were talking about daughter and their privacy related to their relationships did both men “chuckle”
You can’t trust any of these propaganda outlets.
