I disagree. I don't know the legal situation of this. But I wouldn't be surprised if the shooter is charged with something, possibly manslaughter. The first shot was fine. But after that the guy turned around and was leaving, and he shot him twice in the back. You can't usually shoot someone in the back. And now things are recorded so much. The days of he was breaking in so I shot, and that's that are over. Now the tape is analyzed, and the question is asked, were you reasonably in fear for your life? Is that what a reasonably person would do in that same situation? I say no. A reasonable person would have stayed inside. And warned, and waited. If the door comes open you shoot. But I think this guy opened the door, shot, guy turns to run, gets shot again, takes a step or two, gets shot again. From what appeared to be a shooter who was standing in the door way. I think he clearly shown he had no fear. And he may have just wanted to do it. |
