Man Killed by Lightning Bolt
April 26, 2023, India- A laborer has died due to lightning while working in a coal mine in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra. The scene of lightning striking the laborer has been captured in the CCTV camera. The deceased was working in Majri coal mine of Western Coalfield Limited in Bhadravati taluka when the accident happened on Tuesday afternoon. The deceased has been identified as B.D.Y. (36), a resident of Narayanpur in Bhojpur district of Bihar. He was an overburden transporter in Naglon mine area in Majri area of Waikoli. On Tuesday afternoon around 2.30 pm, he was passing through Naglon mine. During this, lightning struck him, due to which he died on the spot. The police have registered a case and sent the body for postmortem. |
