Man Killed by High Voltage Cable
A person was hit by a high-voltage cable in the municipality of codazi cesar, apparently he was washing a tank car and touched the cable. He later dies in the hospital. Colombia As it turns out, the man survived. Thanks to TheCruxofBag for the info. |

Some sources saying he survived A man was left in critical condition due to first, second and third degree burns in 50% of the body, in events that occurred in the municipality of Agustín Codazzi, in Cesar Department, Colombia. The incident occurred when B.C.H.F. was washing a tanker truck and touched the high voltage cables with an aluminium rod. He was taken to a local hospital for surgery and remains in ICU. |

I grew up on a farm/ranch, and you would not believe how many times farmers have died from hitting powerlines with sprinkler pipes!! The pipes are about 40'-50' long and you lift them into the air to drain all the water out so that you can carry the sprinkler pipe to the next hook up. At the end of the field there is power lines running down the road (not always) and sometimes people accidently touch the power lines and they never come in for dinner. I imagine it hurt like the mother of all pain from what it looks like!
