Wow, some of the comments here are so stupid and incredibly wrong it astounds me. Did you people actually watch the video with detail?
I think one of the guys was trying to save the other guy bu he resisted staying on tracks causing his obliteration and a very fatal looking hit to the helping guy, 3rd guy was unscatched
Yep.
To me it appears that the group of all three were standing beside the railway tracks. Two of them appear to be arguing with each other and the shorter of the two appears to be female. The third guy is just casually standing around looking like he doesn't want to get himself involved in their argument.
One of the arguing couple, presumably the male, walks off and onto the track while the female turns and watches him. She then appears to reach out to him to grab him but misses and as the train approaches closer she appears to panic and tries several times to grab him and drag him off the tracks.
In the final moment, just before she jumps, it looks like she manages to grab hold of his arm and drag him with her but by then it was too late. The train struck them both before they were clear of the tracks and the train ran straight over the male. Although the female tried to jump out of the way of the train, the train still struck her and threw her clear of the tracks. It doesn't appear as if the train ran over her legs or feet, but it's hard to tell from the low resolution footage.
This too, except there was no female, they were all men (He looks and moves like a man.) No, it appears he got thrown away from the train and it doesn't look like he was run over.
You can clearly see one of the two grabbing the other's arm, trying to pull him off the tracks moments before the train strikes. One of them is knocked clear of the tracks while the other guy disappears at the front of the train.
If you replay the video frame-by-frame at both normal and slow speed sections you can briefly see the guy's body jammed underneath the train just ahead of the front wheels as it exits the frame to the right of screen.
The video is American, not Russian, and you can clearly hear a female yell "NO!" when one of the two figures walks onto the track and the other lunges out at them. This is quite clearly a spur of the moment suicide in which one member of the group unsuccessfully tried to stop from happening.
You can indeed see his body (in blue) being dragged away. The female yelling appears to be coming from the car the camera is in (you hear her get out and ask for help). I don't think this is American...it doesn't sound like it to me at all.
What's amazing is that the man who was trying to help and got hit in the head could have went back to safety before the train came as he was much more alert. He tried to help the other person and was killed for it or had brain damage if he survived. If that was me, I would have let the idiot take his own life.
