why would he even think he'd survive that? i mean fair enough if the window was his only exit or something.

if i was in that situation i wouldn't even consider jumping out of the window at that height, unless he was aiming for the fire engines step ladder, but then again thats also risky

obviously i cant say how bad his situation was in the building but i reckon you'd have more chance trying to run though the flames, i reckon you're talking two floors of fire maximum (not that he knows, but the fire can't be spreading that quickly) unless of course his area/room was the last to ignite, (which he might think it was) and the fires from the floor up.

i dont know, i just dont think it was clever to jump at all
